Don't ask me where I found all these little pills: I don't remember the sources one by one.
Some were inspired by TV (series, films, anime), several simply by listening to people, and others are the fruit of my own reflections.
All the pieces of the puzzle
I don't believe in those things just because they make an equation work.
There is no elevator to success, but there are stairs.
In other words, if you just keep shouting that what you think is right, you will never change anyone's mind.
So the one who has to change is you.
If you are convinced your proposal is right, you will have to use the "wrong rule" to get the "right answer" accepted.
A coat of paint is enough to disguise it as an opinion everyone will agree with.
This way, without distorting its essence, you will get your proposal accepted.
People think the purpose of memory is to remember the past, but that is not what memory is for. Memory is for drawing lessons from the past to shape the future.
After all, there is no evolution without the desire for change.
The answer matters only when you ask the right question.
But this is also the Hero's task: part of the journey is the end.

When I started this farce of teaching others, for a while I wanted them to do the same things I did, or the ones I would have liked to do but could not.
Then, one day, I suddenly became curious about what others thought.
They were different from me, and they were not my pawns.
I realized this so obvious thing and, from that day, teaching others was no longer a farce.
You cannot change people, but you can build on who they really are.
I trust only two people in the world. One is me, and the other is not you.
The best teacher is failure.
Choose what you love to do, and fail until you become good at it.
Triggers: your weak points, or your traits.
You have to lose your head in two, otherwise it's an execution.
Copying others will not give you the answers you are looking for.
When you wear a mask long enough, you feel entitled to do things you otherwise wouldn't.
There are no strangers in the world, only friends you haven't met.
There are no problems and solutions, only facts and consequences.
Until one of these consequences happens, they are all statistically valid, some more, some less.
Analyzing the facts leads you to list the consequences.
Studying the consequences leads you to reconsider the facts from different points of view.
This generates other possible consequences and rules out others that are far less likely.
Will you stop conforming to others?
Aren't you ashamed of blaming others for your own ineptitude, clumsiness and foolishness?
Diamonds are just carbon atoms lined up in the most boring way possible.
If one day you are a coach, you will have to leave someone out: people who committed themselves, who gave everything. Encourage them, reward their efforts with the recognition they deserve.
"You have worked really hard these last two years. Training was tough. The competition ruthless. Pain and frustration became your travel companions. But you did not give up. You stayed until the end. Keep it up... make me prouder and prouder."
The present is not everything, but there are things you can do only now.
The right advice is not always the advice you need.
Now you are putting up your resistance.
When you open your mind to the impossible, sometimes you discover the truth.
A martyr does not choose to be one.
Winning helps you win.
Philosophy is about questioning what is taken for granted.
People pass negative judgments only when they are insecure.
Since they are confused, they want others to feel the same.
You don't need to understand a tool to use it.
A man is no better than the pain he causes the people he loves.
Experience is also a limit to perception. We understand best what we already know.
Use the crappy times as fertilizer for your future.
If the strong used only their strength, the weak would only need to use their weakness to win.
For spiritual matters, it is better to turn your attention to the East.
"Imagine a wave. In the ocean. You can see it, measure it, its height, the way the sunlight refracts as it passes through. And it's there. You can see it, you know what it is. It's a wave.
Then it crashes on the shore and it's gone. But the water is still there. The wave was just a different way for the water to be, for a while. You know, for Buddhists it's a way of thinking about death: the wave returns to the ocean, where it came from and where it's supposed to be."
Sacrifice: sacer facio = to make sacred.
It is interesting to see how this word has been used to "manipulate" people.
I know you're taking a beating from everyone, but the first one through the wall always gets bloodied.
Always.
They feel threatened. It's not just a way of doing business: in their minds it's a threat to the whole game, but really it's a threat to their livelihood, their jobs, the way they do things, and every time that happens, whether it's a government, a business or anything else, the people holding the reins, with their hands on the switch, go crazy.
Can a choice made when there are no alternatives really be called a decision?
Commitment will never betray you.
It may, however, betray your dreams.
Even if you commit yourself, your dreams may not come true.
In fact, they usually don't.
But knowing that you committed yourself will help console you.
Those who dream by day (and not only by night) always start with an advantage.
If you choose the uphill road, the view will be better.
A single failure is the same as a single success: what really matters is what you do next.
If knowledge can create problems, ignorance certainly does not solve them.
In doubt, the fool sees a problem, the wise an opportunity.
You only go back to take a run-up.
The best way to predict the future is to create it.
You do not need others to understand you. Face all the adversity you want, commit as much as you want, challenge your limits as much as you want. Savor the success you earned with your own hands. If you have chosen your road, do not let what others say confuse you. That is what living free means.

They would rather blame the system, "my industry is different", the coronavirus.
Beware of whiners, of those who ask for loans to save themselves without changing the way they do things.

They will hate you because you are the symbol of their failure.
The hardest thing to see is often the most obvious.
Success is like being pregnant: everyone congratulates you, but nobody knows how many times you got screwed.

Perception is essentially an emotional response. We see the world according to how we feel.
It's boring not to try new options when you know they exist.
